ライステラスコテージのコンセプト
遠くからブラウンズフィールドやカフェにいらしてくださるたくさんの方のご要望に答えて、ついに「ライステラスコテージ」がオープンしました。ご予約いただければ、蔵を改築したゲストハウスやツリーハウスに宿泊していただけます。 たまには、心からゆったりと休みに来てください。
ここには、夜は暗く、星がまたたき、朝日がのぼり、鳥がさえずるという本来ならあたりまえの生活があります。 童心に帰って、ヤギや犬や猫達と遊んだり、ブランコにのるのもいいでしょう。 ハンモックに揺られながらのんびり青空に浮かぶ雲を眺めるのもいいかもしれません。
車で15分ほどで海にも行けますし、もし、土に親しみたいのでしたら、お声がけください、ご一緒に農作業をしましょう。
お食事は、古民家の広間で、大家族の雰囲気の中、無農薬の玄米や新鮮なお野菜を堪能していただけます。
田舎のおばぁちゃんの家に来るつもりで、お気軽にいらしていただけたらうれしいです。

Throughout the year we receive visitors to the Rice Terrace Cafe who come from all over Japan and abroad. In order to provide a longer Brown’s Field experience we now offer a unique lodging experience.
Guests have a choice of accommodation in an exquisitely refurbished Meiji era barn or in one of the two hand-crafted tree-houses. In summer of 2011 we will also provide a very special stay experience in a village farmhouse just a few minutes away on foot. Facilities will include an outdoor bath in a Japanese garden and a special enzyme bath for deeper relaxation.
A stay at Brown’s Field offers guests the opportunity to relax and reflect upon their Japan experience in a soothing and healthy environment. Conveniently located in proximity to Tokyo’s Narita airport, many guests choose Brown’s Field to conclude their stay in Japan before flying home.
Brown’s Field is a place to re-embrace the joys of an earlier time in an environment where time moves at a slower pace. Visitors can enjoy wandering the rice paddies and bamboo groves on foot, or bicycling to the local beach, a 1,200 year old Buddhist temple or a local feudal castle. There is also a beautiful wildlife reserve just fifteen minutes away on bicycle with trails that take you past the remains of a medieval castle.
One can also just like to relax with a book in one of the many hammocks on the farm or pet the goats, cats and family dog, Kurobe. For those who want to have a more earthy experience spades and shovels are available from the farm staff.
A variety of dinner arrangements are available at Brown’s Field. Please inquire what suits your tastes and needs. We offer dinner and breakfast at a long table in the main house with the Brown’s Field family and staff. Private dinners may also be arranged with advanced notice. An excellent organic bakery and sushi shop are also within walking distance.We look forward to welcoming you at Brown’s Field.
